As well as an amazing day you will earn 20% commission on all sales from the party. Not a bad little earner for a fun filled day.
Hosting is simple and we are here to help. We will guide through the do's and don'ts and help you every step of the way, making the whole experience a stress free, fun filled experience.

Our parties last anywhere between 2 and 8 hours, this depends on how many guests you invite. The only requirement is that you have to have 3 families at your party.

They do not need to be there for the entire time, in fact, we have had customers who have arranged slots in their day for individual families.

Step by step guide to Hosting a Photo Party

  1. Contact us for an initial conversation to booking.
  2. Make a list of all the guests you would like to invite
  3. Check your E-Mail for our checklist so you know what is going on.
  4. Send out the invites, provided by us to your guests.
  5. Contact your guests and complete the "Schedule" we provided so we know what guests are when.
  6. Contact your guests again 2 days prior to your party, just to make sure they are still comming.
  7. Think about nibbles and drinks.
  8. Make sure there is enough space and the area ready for us to arrive
  9. Contact us if you have any questions
  10. Relax and look forward to that little bit of extra income

Hosts Responsibilities

We will need a little bit of space to set up for your photo party, the Professional Studio, lights and backdrops need approximately a 3metre area from the camera to the backdrop.  If the photo party portraits are done in a home, furniture can be moved to accommodate the space needed.  If the weather is nice, why not have the photo party outside?

NOTE: Personal cameras are not permitted during the party, or in the area of the shoot.
The party itself is organised by you. Some hosts like to ensure that they have nibbles and snacks available through out the day. Also dont forget the coffee!!

Send invitations (provided by Precious Days) well in advance and encourage your guests to preview our website.

Discuss with your guests any special ideas and needs they may have (such as preferences according to school run, nap and feeding times) and then appropriately schedule your guests in 25 minute intervals, with a few minutes in between.   A Photo Party Host Schedule will be emailed (or posted) to you in advance so you can prepare this information.

Successful hosts follow up their guests with reminders to ensure that every session block is filled (to get the most commission possible).  Contact guests 2 days before the party to notify them of the time of their sitting and ensure attendance.

After the party, guests are emailed a link which contains their unique username and password enabling them to view their private proofing gallery.  After all guests have ordered, the host will be informed as to how much commission they will receive (20% of sales)!
